CraftNote's AI features (transcription, summaries, flashcards, quizzes, and translations) are powered by advanced models and produce high-quality results for most content. Accuracy depends heavily on audio conditions: background noise, several people talking over each other, and speakers seated far from the microphone are the most common causes of transcription and speaker-label errors, along with technical jargon, heavy accents, and very specialized content. For the clearest results with a group, place your phone flat on a table roughly equidistant from everyone, in a quiet space, with nothing covering the microphone. We recommend reviewing AI-generated content for accuracy, particularly for important notes. You can edit transcripts, correct speaker labels, and adjust summaries directly in the app.
