- Are my HR notes private? Who can see them?
- Your notes are private to your account by default — nothing is shared until you choose to share it. Recordings and notes are encrypted in transit and at rest, and recordings are automatically deleted after 60 days. You control every share, and you can delete any note and its audio whenever you want.
- Does a bot join the interview or call?
- Only if you want it to. On Mac and Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc), CraftNote records the call's audio directly, so nothing joins the meeting — useful when you'd rather not have a bot sitting in a candidate call. On mobile, Safari, or for a call you're not attending, you can send an optional bot into the Zoom, Teams or Google Meet interview instead.

- Does it label who said what in an interview?
- Yes. CraftNote separates speakers automatically and can attach real names using your enrolled voiceprints and the meeting's calendar attendees. When the optional bot joins the call, it can also read the participant list for more reliable names — so a panel interview transcript shows exactly who said what.
- Can I use it across a full day of back-to-back interviews?
