Overview
What is the CraftNote app for ChatGPT?
CraftNote is published in ChatGPT’s app directory by JoyoLabs. Install it once and ChatGPT can read your own notes — and notes shared directly with you — and retrieve the relevant excerpts semantically while you chat. You sign in with your CraftNote account, and you can disconnect at any time.
What ChatGPT can do with it
Summarise a meeting and what was decided, reason across several meetings at once, find a single decision (the topic, who was in the room, what was agreed), and pull past action items straight into whatever you’re drafting — a follow-up email, a plan, a status update.
Read-only by design
The app only exposes read access. ChatGPT can read your notes, transcripts and summaries, but it cannot create, edit, delete or share anything, and it can’t see who else has access to a note.

Connect it to ChatGPT
You need a ChatGPT account and a CraftNote account. If you don’t have CraftNote yet, start one first — then come back and add the app.
Open ChatGPT’s app directory
In ChatGPT, open the app directory and search for CraftNote — published by JoyoLabs.
Don’t see it? Make sure apps are enabled for your ChatGPT workspace.
Install and sign in
Install the app and sign in with the same email you use for CraftNote. The consent screen shows exactly what ChatGPT will be able to read.
CraftNote never shares your password with ChatGPT — the connection is a signed-in, read-only grant.
Mention @CraftNote
In any conversation, type @CraftNote followed by your question. That’s the whole setup — your notes keep living in CraftNote, and the app is how ChatGPT reads them when you ask.
Retrieval is semantic, so you can ask in your own words — no need to remember the exact phrase from the transcript.

What ChatGPT can and can’t see
The connection is read-only by design, and it only ever works for your own signed-in account. The consent screen you approve spells this out.

Control
How to disconnect
You can remove the connection at any time. It takes effect immediately — ChatGPT can no longer read your notes until you reconnect.

Settings → Connected apps → ChatGPT → Remove
Revokes ChatGPT’s access to your notes. Sharing stays controlled entirely from your CraftNote account, where notes are private by default.

Apps → CraftNote → Remove
Removes the CraftNote app from ChatGPT. Future conversations won’t have access to your notes until you add it again.

Is the CraftNote ChatGPT app free?
Installing the app and connecting your account is free. You use it with your existing CraftNote account, and your ChatGPT plan is separate — the @CraftNote mention works in any conversation once connected.
Which notes can ChatGPT read?
Only yours: the notes in your own account and notes that have been shared directly with you. It cannot see notes that were never shared with you, and it cannot see who else has access to a note.
Can ChatGPT change or delete my notes?
No. The connection is read-only. ChatGPT can read your notes, transcripts and summaries, but it cannot create, edit or delete anything in CraftNote.
How do I disconnect ChatGPT from CraftNote?
