Before we get to pricing — where did we land on the security review?
Marcus Reid0:19
Passed last Thursday. Their team had two questions about data residency, both answered.
Linda Park0:31
Good. Then the only open item is the seat count. They're asking for 40 up from 25.
Sarah Chen0:44
Forty works if we hold the current per-seat rate. I'd rather grow the account than win the negotiation.
Marcus Reid1:02
Agreed. I'll send the revised quote today and copy their procurement lead.

Half our decisions happen in a quick Huddle. Now each one turns into a clean note with the action items already pulled out, instead of me trying to remember what we said.

Was this transcript helpful?

Our Huddles jump between English and Spanish. CraftNote transcribes both and gives me one clean English summary. Saves me writing it up afterwards.

CraftNote records the Huddle locally and runs its own transcription, so nothing routes through a third-party bot. Recordings are encrypted and I can delete any note and its audio whenever I want. Easy to get past our security review.

Slack Huddle questions, answered.

How do I record and transcribe a Slack Huddle with CraftNote?
Open CraftNote before or during the Huddle and hit record. On Mac and Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc) it captures the Huddle's audio directly. Nothing joins the call. When the Huddle ends you get a transcript, an AI summary, and an action-item checklist.
Does a bot join my Slack Huddle?
No. A Slack Huddle isn't a joinable meeting link, so CraftNote doesn't send a bot into it. Instead it records the Huddle's system audio directly on your Mac or a Chromium browser. Nothing appears in the call.
Do I need a paid Slack plan or any Slack setup?
No. CraftNote records the audio and runs its own transcription, so it doesn't depend on anything inside Slack: no app to install in your workspace, no admin approval, no paid Slack plan. It works the same on a free Slack workspace.
Where does CraftNote record Slack Huddles?
On your Mac (native app) and in Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc), where it can capture the Huddle's system audio directly. On Safari, Firefox and mobile, CraftNote can't capture another app's audio, so the bot-free Huddle capture is a Mac and Chromium feature.
Does it label who said what?
Yes. CraftNote's own transcription adds speaker labels, so the transcript shows who said what across the Huddle, and the summary and action items are attributed accordingly.
Is the recording private?
Yes. The Huddle is recorded locally and the audio and transcript stay in your own account, encrypted. Notes are private by default, and nothing is shared until you choose to share it. You can delete any note and its audio at any time.
What languages does it work in?
80+ languages. CraftNote transcribes the Huddle in the language spoken and can give you the summary in the language you want. Useful when a Huddle switches between languages.
Can I share the notes afterwards?
Yes. Export the note as a file or copy the summary and paste it straight into a Slack channel, a doc, or a ticket. You decide exactly what leaves your account.
